Our livestock consists of sheep 100% “Lacaune” breed
The raw material for the elaboration of our cheeses (milk) only comes from our livestock so we can have the control on the quality of our products from the beginning.
Our sheep are under strict animal health checks so this is reflected in two different type of processes:
Reproduction process with a maximum of one breeding per year each sheep
Production process consisting in a maximum collection of 250 litres per sheep yearly
Furthermore, our livestock is fed through a comprehensive nutrition plan made by an expert nutritionist consisting in corn, barley, beet pulp, cotton seeds, soya.
All this combined with the breed type let us collecting a high-quality milk stable during all the year with unique flavour and aroma, rich in nutrients and proteins so we can make our cheeses obtaining the highest quality standards of the market.
